This really is fantastic news for us, following a number of months testing our TT model and sampling our other products Russ has agreed to help develop the Phoenixtech range.
If you’re new to heli’s, you may not be aware of Russ’s background, he has judged the 3-D masters and is a very accomplished pilot in his own right, to use his own words “I don’t compete I get too nervous” but don’t be fooled this man knows how to fly and has a passion for developing the ultimate machine.
Over the past 14 years he’s;
- Written countless reviews and articles for Model helicopter world magazine
- Published two books covering model helicopter aerobatics and 3-D flying
- Tested and developed model helicopter specialist electronics with a leading company
- And in his spare time has taught countless budding pilots to fly!
Whether you want to fly sport, scale or full on 3-D the key to the ultimate flight performance is stability and accuracy.
Over the coming months Russ will be carrying out a series of build reviews on all our helicopters which will be published on the website
The reviews will include;
- Initial helicopter Build
- Tests on all our motors and electronic accessories
- Suggested combinations and set ups
- Some do’s and don’ts to improve performance
From these initial reviews we will be working with Russ to develop a range of optional upgrade parts to create the “Ultimate” series, to meet his passion for creating stability and accuracy second to none.
